Formed in the late 1990s Moonshine Still (MsS), a nationally touring 6-piece band, has garnered a large grassroots following with their unparalleled live performances. The band is propelled by seamless jams with stunning guitar work, wonderful keyboard solos, and soulful vocals that rise with the spirit of Georgia churches. [R]evolution, the bands latest full-length studio album is being released April 1, 2005. This masterpiece was recorded at one of the nations most celebrated studios, Tree Sound Studios, under the direction of producer Robert Hannon (Grammy Award Winner for OutKasts Speaker Boxxx/Love Below) and executive producer Paul Diaz. During the past two years MsS has achieved even greater national success by following an aggressive touring schedule and through performances at several high profile festivals including: High Sierra Music Festival, Langerado Music Festival, Smilefest, Magnolia Fest, Harvest Fest and the Mid Atlantic Music Experience. In 2004 the band gained additional national exposure when MsS was nominated for the 4th Annual Jammys in the New Groove of 2004 award category. Currently the band is listed as one of Jambase.coms Bands To See Live In 2005. MsS wrapped up 2004 by touring with and sharing the stage with jam pioneers Leftover Salmon (LOS) during LOSs final performances in the southeast. Moonshine Still is poised to have continued growth and national success in 2005 with it's long awaited, and newly released album, "[R]evolution". Look for it, and the band near you soon.
